Paul Krepicz, Jr., 85, of Rextown Road, Slatington, Washington Twp., PA, died peacefully Monday afternoon, October 7, 2024, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Twp.  He was the husband of Mrs. Marie T. (Stangle) Krepicz since May 8, 1965.  Born in Palmerton, he was a son of the late Paul, Sr., and Catherine (Husack) Krepicz.

Paul was owner/operator of K-Lights Liturgical Church Supplies, Slatington, supplying numerous churches, and as a cathedral candle company dealer, as well as Christian organizations throughout the greater Lehigh Valley Area.  He was also employed at the PA Dept. of Agriculture as an apiary inspector for 13 counties, retiring in Feb. of 2024.  Previously, he worked for the former NJ Zinc Co., Palmerton, and later for the former A.I. Root Co., New Smithville.  A 1958 graduate of the SS Palmer High School, he served in the Army, Vietnam Era, achieving the rank of Sgt.  Paul was a member of the American Legion Post 16, Slatington.  He was a member of St. Vladimir's Ukrainian Catholic Church, Palmerton.  In July of 1998, he became a certified Master Beekeeper, and was a life member of the Lehigh Valley Beekeepers Assoc.; member of the American Beekeeping Federation.  Being active in the American Kennel Club, Paul enjoyed judging beagle field trials, and was a member, secretary, and treasurer of the Carbon Beagle Club, Andreas; member of the Central Jersey Beagle Club; and the American Brace Beagle Assoc.   Paul was also a life member of the Palmerton Rod and Gun Club; member of the Lucky 10 Hunt Club, Potter County; member of the Washington Twp. Planning Committee, Lehigh County; and the Citizens Vol. Fire Co., Slatedale.

Survivors: Wife.  Sister, Dr. Margaret Barilla and husband Paul of Emmaus.  Numerous nieces and nephews.  Several Godchildren.  He was predeceased by 3 infant sons, and sisters, Mary Taschler, Anna Searles, Irene Walck, Catherine Kern, Helen Allison, and his brother, John.

Services: Divine Liturgy, 10:30 a.m. Thursday, October 17, 2024, St. Vladimir's Ukrainian Catholic Church, 106 Delaware Avenue, Palmerton, PA 18071.  Call, 7:00-8:30 p.m., Wednesday, October 16, 2024 and 9:00-10:00 a.m., Thursday at Campton Funeral Home, 525 Delaware Avenue, Palmerton, PA 18071.  Interment with Military Honors, at the Parish's Upper Cemetery, Maple Drive, Palmerton.  Online Condolences: www.schislerfuneralhomes.com .
