Paul H. Kern, Sr.

Paul H. Kern, Sr., 80 of Allentown, passed away on Tuesday, September 1, 2020, at the Phoebe Home, Allentown.

Born July 12, 1940 in Coplay, he was the son of the late Harvey and Hilda (Henry) Kern. He and his wife Connie (Young) Kern were married on December 5, 1987.

He was a graduate of Parkland High School Graduate and was a Security Guard at the former Bethlehem Steel Co. He also worked at PP&L as a computer operator. Paul played the steel guitar with the Country Rainbows Band and was an avid bowler. He honorably served in the US Army during Vietnam.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Paul H. Kern, Jr., daughter, Donna wife of Brian Miller, sister, Delores wife of Donald Raub, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by daughter, Denise Kern, and brother, Harvey Kern.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Center for Animal Health and Welfare in care of the Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA 18067.
