Paul J. Mikulcik Sr.

Paul J. Mikulcik, Sr ., 100 of Whitehall-Cementon, PA, passed away on Sunday, January 5, 2025.

Born November 11, 1924, in Allentown, PA, he was the son of the late Paul Mikulcik and the late Hermina (Frederick) Mikulcik. He was the husband of the late Lucille C. (Najpauer) Mikulcik who passed away in November 2003.

Paul was a 1942 graduate of Allen High School. He enlisted in the US Navy in December 1942. After serving his country as a Radioman First Class, he went to work for RCA/GE as a service repairman retiring in 1985. He worked part-time at his church for many years as a custodian.

Paul was a member of the Catholic War Veterans Post 454 and VFW Post 4714. Paul was a long-time member of Assumption Blessed Virgin Mary R.C. Church, Northampton, PA.

Paul is survived by sons, Paul J. Mikulcik, Jr. of Whitehall, PA and Michael S. Mikulcik of Pflugerville, TX, daughters, Christine M. Yagerhofer of Northampton, PA, Kathleen P. Wehr of Whitehall, PA; 5 grandchildren: Ashley wife of Jordan Strause, Zachary, Emily, Nathan, and Patrick. A great-grandson, Parker. Sister-in-laws; Joan and Dorothy Najpauer; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his daughter Paula, 4 brothers; Joseph, Stanley, Emmanuel, Alfred, and 3 sisters; Pauline, Hermina Tyran, and Rosalie Najpauer. Paul loved his angels, Nicole and Veronica.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday January 13, 2025, at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary R.C. Church, 2181 Washington Avenue Northampton, PA 18067. The Rev. Fr. Patrick Lamb officiating. The family will receive relatives and friends from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue Northampton, PA 18067. Interment will follow in the Parish Cemetery, Northampton, PA.
