Paul H. Miller

Paul H. "Poochie" Miller, 88 of Myerstown, formerly of Whitehall, passed away on Saturday, September 24, 2022, at StoneRidge Towne Centre, Myerstown, Pennsylvania.

Born April 28, 1934 in Laurys Station, he was the son of the late David W. and Erma M. (Peters) Miller and husband of the late Ruth A. (Bartholomew) Miller.

He worked as an office manager for Matlack and Rollins Trucking for 28 years before retiring in 1980. He honorably served in the US Air Force during Korea and was a member of the Fullerton American Legion, Post 367. He was also a member of Chapman Lodge No. 637 F&AM.

He is survived by daughter, Karen M. wife of Charles Dielmann of Lebanon, son, Gregory P. and wife Lisa Miller of Orefield, grandchildren, Jason Miller, Michael Miller, and Kelsey MacPhee, and great grandchildren, Lincoln and Kaleb. In addition to his wife and parents, he was predeceased by son, David H. Miller, and brothers, Charles Miller and Gary Miller.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM followed by an 11:00 AM funeral service, all on Monday, October 3, 2022, at the Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA 18067. Masonic services will precede the funeral service. Interment with military honors will follow at Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Allentown.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans in care of the funeral home.
