Paul A. Tartar,
97, of Palmerton, Pennsylvania, died Tuesday morning surrounded by his family, at home. He was the son of the late John Tartar, and the late Rosa (Schlager) Tartar. He was the husband of Jane (Anthony) Tartar, who he met and married in London, England, while serving abroad, and who passed in 2002.
Paul was employed by the former Bethlehem Steel Corporation, for 32 years. He served his country honorably, achieving the rank of Sgt.(T), and was an army veteran of both WWII European Theatre, and Korea. Paul "Pop" treasured his family most, and his family was his life - everything else was second. The love of his family was life's greatest gift.

Daughter, Paula A. Papay wife of Steven Rodrigues of Palmerton, PA. Grandchildren, Shawn and wife Shelley Papay, Mark, and Shannon Papay, Shelly wife of Todd Reiner, and Alanna wife of Gabe Franko. Great-grandchildren, Alesha and Jarrid Papay, Ashley, Nikelle, Savannah, and Sheldan Schleicher, Vanessa, Landan, and Levi Papay, Elizabeth and Jack Franko. 4 Great-great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a daughter, Deborah Tartar, in 2016.

11:00 a.m., Monday, November 12, 2018, at Campton Funeral Home, 525 Delaware Avenue, Palmerton, PA 18071. Call, 10:00-11:00 a.m., Monday, in the funeral home.
