Paula E. George,
69, of Little Gap Road, Kunkletown, Lower Towamensing Township, Carbon County, Pennsylvania, died Saturday afternoon, December 30, 2017, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. She was the wife of Lewis L. George, Sr. since August 17, 1972. Born in Lower Towamensing Township, she was a daughter of the late Wesley and Pauline (Meckes) Green.
Paula was employed in the assembly department of Knoll International, East Greenville, for 25 years, retiring in 2014. Previously, she worked in the same capacity for the former Keystone Lamp Company, Slatington, for over 20 years. Paula was a 1966 graduate of the Palmerton High School. An avid fisherman, she enjoyed spending time at Pleasure Park, Canada.
Survivors: Husband, Lewis. Daughter, Kim G. wife of Butch Acierno of Forest Inn. Son, Lewis L., Jr. and wife Tammy of Trachsville. Granddaughter, Shelby. Sisters, Dorothy wife of Jesse Mendez of Palmerton, Renee wife of David Serfass of Kunkletown, Roxanne Stroup and fiancé Barry Hoffman of Lehighton. Brothers, Pinky Green of Lehighton, Randy and wife Jennifer Green of Palmerton. Numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Gilbert.
Services: Celebration of Life, 1:00-3:00 p.m., Saturday, January 6, 2018, at Towamensing Township Volunteer Fire Company, 105 Firehouse Road, Palmerton (Trachsville), PA 18071.
