Pauline E. Green

Pauline E. (Ziegenfuss) Green, 98, formerly of Court Street, Lehighton, Pennsylvania, died Tuesday morning, September 20, 2016, at Mahoning Valley Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Lehighton. She was the wife of the late Clayton A. Green who passed in 1984. Born in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of the late Ralph and Jennie (Shirar) Ziegenfuss.
Pauline was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, and homemaker. She attended People's EC Church, Franklin Township.
Survivors: Daughters, Marie wife of Tyler Schlecht, Connie A. wife of John Wentz, all of Lehighton, Mary Jane Sanders of Lakeland, Florida. Son, Ronald and wife Carolyn Green of Lehighton. 11 grandchildren. 24 great-grandchildren. 12 great-great-grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by son, Clinton in 2001, sister, Dorothy Goldberg, and brothers, Nathan and Kenneth.
Services: 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 23, 2016, at Miller Funeral Home, 137 Fairview Street, Lehighton, PA 18235. Call, 10:00-11:00 a.m. Friday in the funeral home. Interment, Jerusalem Lutheran Cemetery, Church Drive, Trachsville, PA.
