Pearl A. Schaffer

Pearl A. Schaffer, 80 of Whitehall, PA died on August 29, 2022, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Muhlenberg Campus, Bethlehem, PA. Born March 2, 1942 in Allentown, PA , she was the daughter of the late Frances (Moyer) Grube.

She was the wife of the late Luther Schaffer, who passed in 2001.

Pearl was a high school graduate and a loving homemaker for her family. She was of the Lutheran faith and was a member of the former Laurel Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary, Whitehall, PA. She was also a member of the Hokendauqua Legion, Jones-Quigg Post #739, Whitehall, PA and the American Legion Post 353, Northampton, PA. Pearl was also a life member of the Alliance Fire Co., Northampton, PA.

She is survived by her daughter, April L. Marx and companion Terrance Cain of Whitehall, PA, brothers, Kenneth Grube and wife Kathy of Northampton, PA and Thomas Grube and wife Candida of Bethlehem, PA, sister, Shirley Lacey of Northampton, PA; grandchildren, Paul Rapchak and Ketura of Palmerton, PA, Shane Rapchak and wife Tiana of Northampton, PA, Sarah Schaffer and Faith Schaffer both of Coplay, great granddaughter, Amelia Rapchak of Palmerton, PA. She was predeceased by son, Douglas S. Schaffer and brother, Harry Grube.

A Funeral service will be held 10:00 AM on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at Schisler Funeral Home at 2119 Washington Ave. Northampton, PA 18067. The family will receive friends from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM on Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at Schisler Funeral Home.
