Penny Haas

Penny L. (Silberman) Haas , 72, of 26th Street, Northampton, died peacefully early Friday morning, Oct 4, 2024, in her home. She was the wife of Dennis L. Haas since April 17, 1971. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Wayne and Barbara (Diefenderfer) Silberman.

Penny was employed as a retail clerk by JOANN Fabric and Crafts Co., Whitehall. She was also employed by the former Clover Dept Store, Whitehall, and the former Kuhn's Chiropractic, Northampton. Penny was a 1970 graduate of the Allen High School.

Survivors: husband. daughter, Stacey L. Haas and companion, Ken Janowski of Northampton. sons, Dennis L. and wife Sunita Haas of Moorestown, NJ, James C. and wife Jacky of Mesa, AZ. 5 grandchildren, Daniel, Ash, Devin, Aiden, and Grace. twin sister, Pam wife of Tom Stephens of Bethlehem. aunt, Mrs. Janet Ritts of CA. nieces, Jenifer, Jessica, and Sundena. nephews, Peter, Jason, Joby, and Matthew. She was predeceased by sisters, Sharon Bauer, and Nancy Scholl.
