Peter E. Kilpatrick

Peter E. Kilpatrick, 78, of Northampton- Lehigh Twsp., PA, passed away on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at home with family by his side. Born January 24, 1946 in Easton, PA, he was the son of the late Elmer C. Kilpatrick and the late Dorothy A. (Nagle) Kilpatrick. He was the husband of Joanne (Kochie) Kilpatrick with whom he shared 59 years of marriage this October 2, 2024.

Peter was last employed as a Truckdriver for Conway Central Express (CCX), Fogelsville, PA for 16 years before retiring in 2008. Prior to, he worked in the same capacity for Friedmans Express, Inc. (FXI), Bath, PA location for 20 years. He was a member of St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church, Walnutport, PA., and he was a member of the Lehigh Township Fire Company on the Fire Police Squad. Peter was also a long time member of the Teamsters Trucking Union Local # 773. Peter served his country as an Airman 1st Class in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War.

Surviving along with his wife Joanne are son, Peter E. Kilpatrick, and daughter, Catherine A. wife of Richard Houser both of Nazareth, PA, son Timothy M. Kilpatrick and wife Lori of Palmerton, PA, brother, David Kilpatrick and wife Wanda of Crossville, TN, sister, Dacia wife of David Lenox of Richmond, VA; 4 grandchildren; Joel, Ryan, Samantha, and Derrick; 8 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by sisters, June Tobias and Sandra Carr, and brother Craig Kilpatrick.

Private Graveside Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Ave. Northampton, PA 18067 has been entrusted with his care and arrangements.
