Peter Romanyszyn, Sr., 92, of Seneca Street, Bethlehem, Fountain Hill, PA, formerly of Palmerton, died early Tuesday morning, March 8, 2022, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg Campus, Bethlehem.  He was the husband of the late Juliana (Deutsch) Romanyszyn who passed in 2009.  Born in Palmerton, he was a son of the late Frank and Anna (Shyshock) Romanyszyn.

Peter was employed as a brick/block layer-mason for the J.B. Kelly Construction Company, Philadelphia, and later in the same capacity for Roth & Ellis Construction Company, Allentown.  He was a member of St. Vladimir's Ukrainian Catholic Church, Palmerton, and a 1947 graduate of the Palmerton High School.  Peter served his country with honor in the US Army Air Corps, WWII, Occupation, and achieved the rank of Pfc.

Survivors: Peter, Jr. and wife Janet Romanyshyn of Whitehall.  2 grandchildren, Rudy, and Tara.  Several nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by 3 sisters, and 2 brothers.

Services: Graveside Services, 11:00 a.m., Monday, March 14, 2022, St. Vladimir's Upper Parish Cemetery, Maple Drive, Palmerton.  Call, 10:00-10:30 a.m., Monday at the Campton Funeral Home, 525 Delaware Avenue, Palmerton, PA 18071.  Online Condolences may be left for the family at: www.schislerfuneralhomes.com .
