Phill J. Costenbader, Sr.

Phill J. Costenbader, Sr., 49, of Wintergreen Road, Palmerton, Lower Towamensing Twp., PA, died suddenly after being stricken at home on Wednesday morning, May 31, 2023.  He was the husband of Melissa A. (Wallace) Costenbader since July 2, 2005.  Born in Palmerton, he was a son of the late Ronald R., Sr. and Roseann A. (Christman) Costenbader.

Phill was employed by MJK Lawn Care, Palmerton, and worked in the past for Towamensing Twp, Carbon County.  An avid sportsman, Phill enjoyed hunting, fishing, and farming.  He was a member of the Kunkletown Rod and Gun Club, the Slatington Skeet Club, and the Palmerton Rod and Gun Club.  Although not a church member, he had God in his heart.

Survivors: Wife.  Daughters, Jenna Wallace and fiance Andrew Everett of Palmerton, Brianna Borger of Bethlehem, Karissa wife of Troy Green of Linden, TN, and MeKayla Wallace of Palmerton.  Sons, Phill J., Jr. and wife Allissa of Palmerton, Dakota and fiancee Kelly Dotter of Palmerton.  3 grandchildren, Phill J., III, Hunter, and Bellamia. Sister, Renee Costenbader and companion, Kevin Anthony of Palmerton.  Brothers, Ronald R., Jr. of Lehighton, Tim and wife Penny of Walnutport, Tom and wife Becky, Jamie and wife Sherry, Pat and wife Maria, Jason, Eric and wife Jenelle, all of Palmerton, and Troy and wife Jackie of Kunkletown.  Sister-in-laws, Jennifer L. (George) Costenbader, and Joyce D. (Brearman) Costenbader.  Numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.  He was predeceased by brothers, David in 2018, and Lee, Sr. in 2020.
