Phyllis Annette Elizabeth Kush

Phyllis Annette Elizabeth (Regec) Kush , 76, of W. 29th Street, Northampton, Pennsylvania, passed peacefully on Thursday afternoon, June 3, 2021, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Bethlehem.  She was the wife of the late Joseph J. Kush, Jr., who passed in 2012.  Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Anna (Setz) Regec.

Phyllis was a 1962 graduate of Central Catholic High School, Allentown.  She was employed as a loan officer by HSBC Finance Corporation (Beneficial Finance) for 30 years.  A member of Assumption BVM Catholic Church, Northampton, she enjoyed attending the Young at Heart Group.  Phyllis was a member of the Roxy Red Hats, Business and Professional Women's Group, and Senior Ladies, all of Northampton.  She and her late husband were life members of the Lappawinzo Fish and Game Protective Association, Allen Township.  Phyllis enjoyed going to her cottage in Potter County, beach visits, casino trips, and taking occasional cruises.

Survivors: Sons, Joseph J., III and wife Tammy Kush of Northampton, Jon J., Sr. and wife Tabitha Kush of Whitehall, and Jamie A. Kush and companion Taeyoung Choi of New York, NY.  Grandson, Jon J., Jr. of Whitehall.  Nieces and nephew.

Services: A Funeral Service will be held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA 18067.  Interment will follow in the Assumption B.V.M. Parish Cemetery, Cherryville Road, Northampton.  The family will receive friends 7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m., on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 and 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 9, 2021, in the funeral home.  Online Condolences may be left for the family at: www.schislerfuneralhomes.com .
