Ralph T. Engle, Jr.,
72 of Andreas, PA. died Saturday, October 28, 2017, at St. Luke's Hospital & Health Network in Bethlehem, PA. Born June 14, 1945 in Palmerton, PA, he was the son of the late Ralph T. Engle, Sr. and Nellie V. (Knittle) Engle. He was the husband of Shih-Chu (Diane) Engle with whom he shared 15 years of marriage this past June 29, 2017.
Ralph was last employed as a Machine Installation Supervisor for Hetran, Inc. of Orwigsburg, PA for 20 years before retiring in June 2013. He attended St. Paul's U.C.C. Church, Indianland. He served his country honorably as a Navy veteran during the Vietnam War.
Survivors: Surviving along with his wife Diane are son, Rodney T. Engle and wife Stacy of Lehighton, PA, daughters, Laura Dorshimer of Bowmanstown, PA, Tammy wife of Michael Smith of Lehighton, PA, Ms. Stephanie Engle of Palmerton, PA and Rene Engle of Andreas, PA; 10 Grandchildren and 7- Great-Grandchildren. He was predeceased by 2 Brothers and a Sister.
Services: A Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday November 2, 2017at Schisler Funeral Home, Inc., 2119 Washington Ave. Northampton, PA. 18067, with the Rev. Martin E. Nuscher officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM prior to the services. Interment will follow in Indianland Cemetery Association, Cherryville, PA.
