Ray A. Schleicher , 67, of East Lizard Creek Road, Lehighton, East Penn Township, PA, died suddenly on Friday morning, December 23, 2022, in the St. Luke's Hospital, Carbon Campus, Franklin Township.

He was employed as a welder/fabricator for the Strick Corp., Lehighton, until retirement.  Previously, he worked for Riebe Construction, Palmerton, and for the Roll Allen Mining Co., Clam Glouch, AK.

Born in Lehighton, he was a son of the late Allen C. and Audrey I. (Bowman) Schleicher.  He was a 1974 graduate of Lehighton High School; a member of the East Penn Fire Co.; and a life member of the Andreas Sporting Club.

Survivors: Two sisters, Marilyn, wife of the late Robert Andrew, and Barbara, wife of James Knappenberger, both of East Penn Township.  Brother, Thomas R. and his wife Senie, of Mahoning Township.  Six nieces and nephews, 11 great-nieces and great-nephews; two great-great-nieces and great-great nephews, and several cousins.

Services: Graveside Service 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 30, 2022, Dinkey Memorial Cemetery, Ashfield, East Penn Township.  Arrangements by Campton Funeral Home, 525 Delaware Avenue, Palmerton, PA 18071.  Online Condolences may be left for the family at: www.schislerfuneralhomes.com .
