Raymond E. Garrison

Raymond E. Garrison , 82 of Northampton, PA passed away on October 8, 2023, at Heather Glen Senior Living in Allentown, PA. Born August 14, 1941 in Allentown, PA, he was the son of the late Herbert Garrison and the late Mary (Hacker) Garrison. He was the husband of Christine "Tina" (Sharkazy) Garrison, with whom he shared 58 years of marriage.

Ray was drafted into the Army during the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged. He was employed by LaFarge Cement Company for 34 years before retiring in 2004. In Ray's free time he was an avid hunter, fisherman, trap shooter, and bowler. He was a life member of the Lappawinzo, Petersville Rod and Gun Club, Alliance Fire Company, and NRA. Ray was a member of Queenship of Mary Catholic Church.

Survivors: along with his wife, are brothers, Richard Garrison and wife Jean of Catasauqua, PA, Herbert Garrison, Jr. of Coplay, PA, William Garrison and wife Henrietta of Port Charlotte, FL, sister, Mary Ann, wife of Bruce Breisch of Northampton, PA. He was predeceased by brother Anthony Garrison, and sisters, Rose Schmidt, and Angela Garrison.

Services: The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday October 13 2023, from 9:00 AM to 10:00AM, at the Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Ave., Northampton, PA, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10;30AM at Queenship of Mary Catholic Church, 1324 Newport Avenue Northampton, PA 18067. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Hungary Cemetery, 2nd Street in Northampton, PA, 18067.
