Raymond T. Gilbert

Raymond T. Gilbert, Sr., 79 of Allen Township, passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at his home.

Born November 3, 1942 in Cherryville, he was the son of the late Kenneth and the Elsie (Meckes) Gilbert and husband of the late Rosemarie T. "Rosie" (Tukovits) Gilbert.

He worked as a cutter for Cross Country Clothes for many years and then as a driver for Quest before retiring. Raymond honorably served in the US Army.

He is survived by sons, Brian and wife Marigrace Gilbert of East Greenville, and Raymond T. Gilbert, Jr. of Boyertown, daughter, Amanda Martinez and companion Jonathan Simpson of King Of Prussia, brothers, Gary, Dennis Mark, and Kenneth, Jr., sisters, Elaine and Shirley, and seven grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by an 11:00 AM memorial service, all on Thursday, October 20, 2022, at the Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA 18067. Interment will follow at Zion Cemetery, Northampton.
