Raymond J. Rios

Raymond "Juggy" J. Rios, 77, of Princeton Avenue, Palmerton, Pennsylvania, died Sunday morning, November 5, 2017, at Mahoning Valley Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Lehighton. He was the husband of Arlene E. (Dotter) Rios for the last 56 years. Born in Palmerton, he was a son of the late Seberiano and Mary (Pahula) Rios.

Raymond was employed as a general laborer for Affordable Concrete Contractors, Towamensing Township. Previously he worked in the same capacity for Carl Hess Construction, Gruber & Venegas Construction, both of Allentown. He attended St. John's Episcopal Church, Palmerton. Raymond enjoyed playing cards, going to Atlantic City, and casino trips.

Survivors: Wife, Arlene. Sisters, Epifania wife of Salvador Rios of Palmerton, Marcella Hunsicker of Mahoning Twp. Brothers, Joseph and wife Gloria of Nazareth, Philip and wife Parmita of Bethlehem. 6 Godchildren. Nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brother, Jesse, and a brother-in-law, Carl Hunsicker.

Services: 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 10, 2017, at Campton Funeral Home, Inc., 525 Delaware Avenue, Palmerton, PA 18071.
