Raymond F. Schaffer, Iii

Raymond "Speedy" F. Schaffer, III, 59, of Loop Road, Slatington, Washington Township, Pennsylvania, died peacefully Tuesday evening, November 7, 2017, at ManorCare Health Services, Allentown.  He was the husband of Joyce Ann (Ronemus) Schaffer, since September 16, 1994.  Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Raymond F., Jr. and Betty (Breininger) Schaffer.

Raymond was an expert collision specialist, who worked for Sules Autobody, Friedens, and the former Daniels Cadillac, as well as the former Shoemakers Jeep/Eagle, West Allentown.  He was a member of Lehigh Lodge No 326, Lehigh Consistory, Valley of Allentown, and the Rajah Shrine, Reading.  An avid motorcycle enthusiast, he was a life member of the Reading Motorcycle Club, Oley.

Survivors: Wife, Joyce Ann.  Sons, Rody L. and wife Nicole Schaffer of Palmerton, Lance M. and wife Sheri Grimm of Bowmanstown, Derek Hartman of Hamburg.  4 grandchildren, Reid, Clara Rae, Blake, and Braden.  Sister, Linda Rathbun wife of Doug Pezoldt of Slatington.  Nieces and nephews.
