Richard Antoniuk

Richard Antoniuk, 91 of Northampton, PA, passed away peacefully on Monday evening, January 19, 2026, at Advanced Health Care of Hanover in Bethlehem, PA. Born August 20, 1934, in Northampton, PA, he was the son of the late John Antoniuk and the late Mary (Fenyk) Antoniuk. He was the husband of Elinor (Faryniak) Antoniuk with whom he shared 61 years of marriage this past July 18, 1964.

Richard was a 1952 graduate of Northampton Area Senior High School who went on to earn his B/S Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indiana Institute of Technology in 1959. Richard's career as a Registered Mechanical Engineer spanned over 53 years, last employed by Snyder Hoffman Associates, Bethlehem, PA and retiring in 2012. Richard was a long-time member of St. Mary's Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Allentown, PA. He was also active in his community, as elected Treasurer for years for the Northampton Historical Society. Richard enjoyed baseball, and was a true Dodgers fan, liking them all the way back to when they were the Brooklyn Dodgers.

Surviving along with his wife Elinor are sons, David R. Antoniuk and wife Ann Harrington of Danielsville, PA and Todd C. Antoniuk and wife Monika of Broomfield, CO., niece Kara Powner of Atlanta, GA and nephew Jon Antoniuk of Bloomington, IL. He was predeceased by brother, Ronald Antoniuk.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday January 31, 2026, at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Ave. Northampton, PA 18067 with the Rev. Martin A. Milne officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM prior to the services. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
