Richard D. Bartholomew

Richard D. Bartholomew, Sr., 86 of Northampton, PA, passed away on Tuesday, June 14, 2022, at Fellowship Community in Whitehall, PA. Born April 15, 1936 in Bethlehem, PA, he was the son of the late Paul Bartholomew and the late Pearle (Rentzheimer) Kauker. He was the husband of the late Hilda R. (Domitrovits) Bartholomew who passed away in February 2015.

Richard was retired from HCSC Laundry Services, Emmaus, PA in 2004, after 29 years as a truck driver. Richard was an avid golfer, playing whenever he was able. He also loved to fish and was a member of Ranger Rod & Gun Club, Coplay, PA and a lifemember of Teamsters Local 773. He served his country in the US Marine Corp. as a Corporal during the Korean War.

He is survived by his son, Richard D. Bartholomew, Jr., daughter, Lisa A. Semler & fiance Dennis Heffelfinger of Allentown, PA, brother, Ronald Bartholomew and wife Cathy of Southampton, NJ. He was predeceased by son, Michael Bartholomew in 2017.

A Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday June 20, 2022 at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Ave. Northampton, PA 18067. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM prior to services. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Hungary Cemetery, Northampton, PA.
