Richard H. Deibert,
89 of Walnutport, PA died on Saturday, December 9, 2017, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Muhlenberg Campus in Bethlehem, PA. Born March 10, 1928 in Walnutport-Lehigh Twsp., PA, he was the son of the late Alma Deibert Hoffman. He was the husband of Joyce J. (Christman) Deibert with whom he shared 70 years of marriage this past March 8, 2017.
Richard was employed at the former Bethlehem Steel Corp. last as a forklift operator for 40 years before retiring in 1990. He was a long time member and former ride Captain for the Zinc City Motorcycle Club, Carbon Co, PA; former member of the Blue Ridge Rod & Gun Club, and was a former member of the Brothers of the Brush, Slatington, PA during its 100 year Celebration. He served his country honorably as a PFC in the Army during the Korean War.
Survivors: Surviving along with his wife Joyce are sons; Larry A. Deibert and wife Kathleen and Michael L. Deibert and wife Cynthia both of Slatington, PA; 4 Grandchildren; 4 Great-Grandchildren. He was predeceased by daughter, Linda Louise Deibert and a sister, Dorothy Bush.
