Richard C. Flores

Richard C. Flores, 88, of (Stiles) Whitehall Twp, died peacefully Tuesday morning, July 28, 2026, in his home. He was the husband to Bonnie L. (Bartholomew) Flores since Nov 2, 1968. Born in N. Whitehall Twp, he was the son of the late Dorothy P.(Gantz) Fehnel and his stepfather Jacob A. Fehnel.

 Richard was a self-employed independent truck driver for over 50 years. Previously, he worked in the same capacity for Service Tire Co., Bethlehem and Horwith Trucking, Northampton. Richard was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Howertown. He served in the Navy, Peacetime, and achieved the rank of BT2. Richard had a lifelong love of animals, especially Beagles and Basset Hounds. He especially cherished his beloved dog, Bandit. He also enjoyed bowling, NASCAR, and he was a Ford enthusiast.

Survivors: wife. daughters, Bonnie L. Flores of Whitehall, Jane M. wife of Paul Termini of Crestwood, KY, and Megan J. wife of Robert Brown, Jr., of N. Catasauqua. sons, Blaine R. of Salem, NH, Carl W., and Robert S. and wife Amy, all of Northampton. 9 grandchildren, Anthony, Vincent, Amanda, Nicholas, Derek, Austin, Logan, Colin, and Samantha. 4 great grandchildren, Callum, Layla, Delaney, and Paisley. sister-in-law, Ann (Deiley) Flores of Woodstock, GA. 5 step siblings. Several nieces and nephews, as well as other cherished loved ones. He was predeceased by sister, Patricia Flores, and brother, Dale R. Flores, Sr.
