Richard L. Hamm

Richard L. Hamm , 75, of The Palmer House, Palmerton, PA, formerly of Kittatinny, W. Bowmans, E. Penn Twp., died peacefully early Monday evening, February 14, 2022, at St. Luke's Hospital, Carbon Campus, Lehighton.  He was the husband of Margaret C. (Dailey) Hamm since September 23,1967.  Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Eugene and Katie (Bowman) Hamm.

Richard was employed as a presser by the Paris Neckwear Company.  Later, he worked in security by the Air Products Corp., Allentown, and also for McFarland Concrete.  Richard enjoyed arts and crafts, especially painting.

Survivors: Wife.  Daughter, Louise wife of Darren Yurkunas of Lehighton.  Son, Timothy and wife Miyuki of Auburn, GA.  4 grandchildren, Kailey, Jarred, Amica, and Kaito.  1 great-granddaughter, Ellie.  Sisters, Carol Shay, and Evelyn Barber, both of Scranton, Marion Egolf of Boyertown, Barbara Jackson of Jacksonville, FL, and Eleanor Marchetti of Sugarloaf.  Several nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by brother, Alvin Hamm.
