Richard Kale Jr.

Richard (Rick) Kale, Jr, 66 of Northampton, PA passed away on August 28, 2023, at LVHN Muhlenberg. Born October 29, 1956 in Northampton, he was the son of the late Richard (Dick) Kale Sr. and the late Frances (Madea) Kale-Elek. Married for 47 years, Rick was the husband of Liz Kale. Rick spent a lifetime as an over the road truck driver. He was an avid motorcyclist, and always enjoyed being on the road. Known as the "Professor", Rick was once the owner/operator of RK Trucking. He also spent many years driving for Horwith Trucks, and most recently retired from RHS Trucking. When home he and his wife were often found enjoying themselves riding the Harley, where many of his local friends knew him as "Nut".

Rick was survived by wife, Liz, and son, Richard (Rick) Kale, III with partner,  Kristeen Funk, and step-father, Ron Elek, all of Whitehall. Also an aunt, Mary Heilman-King and her daughter, Cindy Eck, along with a, nephew Stephen Buss, and predeceased by nephew, Terry Buss, of Northampton.

Services : The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, at Schisler Funeral Home, Inc. , 2119 Washington Ave., Northampton, Pa, followed immediately after by a Celebration of Life gathering, at his son's home: 4211 Spruce St, Egypt.
