Richard L. Myers

Richard L. Myers, 94, formerly of Coopersburg, Pennsylvania, died Sunday morning, May 6, 2018, at Fellowship Community, Whitehall.  He was the husband of the late Catherine A. (Albright) Myers, who passed in 2005.  Born in Altoona, Blair County, he was a son of the late Walter F. and Kathryn M. (Leinhoff) Myers.

Richard was employed by Cardinal Health, Bethlehem, for the last several years.  Previously, he owned and operated RCB Transport, and Myers Men Transport, former Matlack Trucking, former MTS Trucking, Northampton.  A WWII Veteran, he served his country honorably in the Navy, achieving the rank of FC2/c, and later, transferred to the Marine Corps, Korea Era.  Richard enjoyed his work, never retiring.  He enjoyed Cape Cod, Massachusetts, saltwater fishing, woodworking, and spending time with his nieces and nephews.

Survivors: Several nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by a sister, Alice, and a brother, Walter.
