Richard "Big Rick" F. Orr, III, 60 of Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania died on Wednesday, November 14, 2018, at St. Luke's Hospital - Gnaden Huetten Memorial Campus in Lehighton, Pennsylvania. Born on July 28, 1958 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Richard Orr and Alicia (Barret) Fiocca. He was the husband of Maureen (Lord) Orr with whom he shared 33 years of marriage with this past May.
He was employed by Philadelphia Harbor in the Customs department for over 25 years before retiring in 1992. Richard was an avid hunter and a member of the NRA. He was a member of St. Peter The Fisherman Catholic Church in Lake Harmony.
Surviving along with his mother and wife are sons, Edward McNasby and wife Chrissy of Allentown, NJ, Richard Orr, IV of Port Richey, FL and John P. Orr of Jim Thorpe, PA, daughters, Janice A. Kuzan of Jim Thorpe, PA, Erica C. Orr of Philadelphia, PA and Pilar M. Orr of Jim Thorpe, PA, brothers, Anthony Orr and wife Joan, Shawn Fiocca, Jimmy Fiocca and wife Amy, and Bobby Fiocca and wife Kathy, sister, Lisa Fiocca, sister-in-law, Mrs. Maureen Fiocca all of Philadelphia, PA; 15 grand children. He was predeceased by a brother, George Fiocca.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the care of Campton Funeral Home, 525 Delaware Avenue, Palmerton, PA 18071.
