Richard J. "Rj" Wentz

Richard J. "RJ" Wentz , 32, of Lehighton, Pennsylvania, died on Sunday, March 17, 2019, at Gnaden Huetten Hospital, Lehighton.  Born March 27, 1986 in Allentown, he was the son of Richard D. Wentz and Stephanie (Swartz) Silfies, wife of Robert W. Silfies.

He worked at Lowes in Lehighton, and was a member of the USBC Bowling Association.  RJ was an avid sports fan and loved the Carolina Panthers.

Survivors: In addition to his parents, he is survived by daughter, Isabel J. Wentz of Lehighton.  Companion, Krystle Heintzelman of Lehighton.  Sister, Breanna Hoffner of Lehighton. Half-brothers Dakota Wentz and Matt Hawk, both of Lehighton.  Stepsister, Tiffany Laubach of Lehighton.  Paternal grandmother, Ruth Wentz, and paternal grandfather, Richard Wentz, both of Lehighton.  Many Aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Services: The family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., on Thursday, March 21, 2019 and from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. followed by an 11:00 a.m. funeral service on Friday, March 22, 2019, all at the Miller Funeral Home, 137 Fairview Street, Lehighton, PA 18235.
