Richard K. Wessner

Richard K. Wessner, Jr. , 69 of Saylorsburg, PA, passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at Hospice of Palm Beach CO. in Jupiter, Florida. Born January 8, 1955 in Allentown, PA, he was the son of the late Richard K. Wessner, Sr. and Rhoda (Amison)  Wessner who resides in Saylorsburg, PA. He was the husband of Diane (Dewalt)Wessner with whom he shared 47 years of marriage this past August 14, 2023.

Richard was a high school graduate, last employed by H.T. Lyons, Allentown, PA as a project manager for their HVAC projects for 30 years before retiring in 2013. Richard was a member of Dryland U.C.C. Church- Newburg, he was also a Mason with the F.& A.M. Porter Lodge #284 Catasauqua, PA. Richard was and avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Surviving along with his wife and mother are daughter, Jennifer wife of Steven Thomma of Bath, PA, son, Brian Wessner and wife Tonya of Swiftwater, PA, daughter, Amanda wife of Matthew Zanzalari of Orefield, PA, sister, Rhonda wife of Craig Mensemer of N. Canton, OH; 6 grandchildren.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday April 18, 2024 at Dryland U.C.C. Church - Newburg, 4415 Newburg Road, Nazareth, PA 18064 with the Rev. Edward Livingston officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM with Masonic services at 10:45 AM. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.  Bartholomew-Schisler Funeral Home, 211 E. Center Street, Nazareth, PA 18064 has been entrusted with his care and services.

Contributions: May be made to Loggerhead Marine Life Center or Dryland U.C.C. Church Memorial fund both c/o the funeral home.
