Robert "Bob" R. Baker , 80, of Princeton Avenue, Palmerton, PA, died suddenly Thursday evening, October 10 2024, at St. Luke's Hospital, Carbon Campus, Lehighton.  Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Russell E. and Emily (Towne) Baker.  He was the husband of Colleen A. (Roach) Baker since November 10, 1973.

Bob was employed as a sales representative for Progress Lighting Co., Philadelphia and Greenville, SC, for over 20 years, retiring in 2007.  He was a member of Calvary Chapel of Stroudsburg , and a 1962 graduate of Pennsbury High School, Levittown.  Later, he served the Army Reserves, Stateside, achieving rank of PFC, Vietnam Era.  An avid guitarist and vocalist, he enjoyed playing for the church worship team and several convalescent homes in the Pocono area.  Bob also enjoyed volunteering at the Kunkletown Food Pantry, Eldred Twp.  Our Lord Jesus and his family were his life.

Survivors: Wife.  Daughter, Rachel S. wife of Jason Jacoby of Palmerton.  Son, Robert R., II and wife Nicole of Palmerton.  7 grandchildren, Sydney, Robert III, Jason II, Caleb, Abagail, Elias, and Cyrus.  Sister-in-law, Sharon Roach of PA.  Brothers-in-law, Coleman and wife Janice Roach of FL, and Steven and wife Barbara Roach of AZ.  Several nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by a brother, James Baker.

Services: Please join us for the Celebration of Life Service for Bob Baker on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at Calvary Chapel-Stroudsburg, 146 Bossardsville Road, Sciota, PA 18354.  Memorial Tables from 12:30 p.m. - 1:00 p.m.  The Service begins at 1:00 p.m.  All are invited for an early dinner from 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m., at Saint Matthew's Church Hall, 102 Church Road, Kunkletown, PA 18058.   Arrangements, Campton Funeral Home, Palmerton.  Online Condolences: www.schislerfuneralhomes.com .
