Robert L. Billman

Robert L. Billman, 95 of Nazareth, PA, passed away on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Hecktown Oaks in Easton, PA. Born May 18, 1931 in Lehighton, PA, he was the son of the late John Billman and the late Mary (Remaley) Billman. He was the husband of the late Kathleen (Hornecker) Billman who passed away September 3, 2012

Robert was last employed as Manager for the former Laneco, Nazareth, PA. and the former Falks Food Basket, Nazareth, PA for many years before retiring in 1994. Prior to he was a clerk at the former A & P in Lehighton, PA, spanning a 38 year career in grocery retail. Robert enjoyed music and was a trumpet player for many years, he was a member of the Lehighton Men's Band for years, a member of the Really Terrible Orchestra (RTO), and he enjoyed playing Taps for departed Veterans and at different community functions.

Robert is survived by his son, Mitchell R. Billman and wife Susan of Nazareth, PA, daughter, Michelle M. Pettis of Nazareth, PA, sister, Mrs. Shirley Wagner of Tamaqua, PA; 2 granddaughters; Brittany and Brianne Wolfe, 2 great-granddaughters; Belle and McKenzie. He was predeceased by a sister Ethewyn.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Bartholomew-Schisler Funeral Home, 211 E. Center St. Nazareth, PA 18064 has been entrusted with his care and arrangements.
