Robert R. Engler

Robert R. Engler, 82 of Center Valley, PA, passed away on Thursday, February 10, 2022, at St. Luke's Hospital - Allentown Campus in Allentown, PA. Born May 28, 1939, he was the son of the late Calvin R. Engler and the late Marian R. (Link) Engler. He was the husband of the late Barbara G. (Witt) Engler who passed away in 2008.

Robert was last employed as a Layout Operator for the former Western Electric Co., Allentown, PA for 21 years before retiring in 2001. Prior to he worked for Wentz Memorial Co., Allentown as a Cutter / Engraver for several years. Robert was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Blue Church, Coopersburg. He was a former long time member of the Wednesday Night Men's Bowling League, Coopersburg, Robert volunteered his time for over 24 years helping with the clean-up / restoration of the Union-West End Cemetery, Allentown, PA. He enjoyed bus trips, card games, puzzles, and was an avid Phillies Baseball Fan.

Surviving are sons, Brian R. Engler, Sr. and wife Patricia of Allentown, PA and Barry R. Engler and wife Elizabeth of Bethlehem, PA, daughter, Brenda M. wife of Steven Benko of Northampton, along with 6 grandchildren. He was predeceased by a grandson Alan in 1994, and a brother, Donald.
