Robert W. Frey

Robert W. Frey, 80 of Slatington, PA, died on Wednesday, November 17, 2021, at Lehigh Valley Hospital Center in Allentown, PA. Born September 29, 1941 in Allentown, PA, he was the son of the late Clifford Frey and Arlene (Shoemaker) Frey. He was the husband of Nancy L. (Kratzer) Frey with whom he shared 58 years of marriage this past October 11, 2021.

Robert was employed by Lincoln Technical Institute, of Allentown, PA as an Electronics and High Math Instructor for 20 years before retiring in 2003. He was a member of Union Lutheran Church, Schnecksville, PA. He and his wife volunteered for L.C. Meals on Wheels for several years. Robert served his country as an Airman 1st Class in the US Air Force from 1959 until 1963.

Surviving along with his wife Nancy are daughters, Kathleen L. Blum, wife of Paul Lester of Raleigh, NC, Kimberly L. wife of Edward Szerencsits of Coplay, PA and Kelly L. wife Randall Kline of Coplay, PA, brother, Raymond Frey and wife Jacqueline of Ocean City, MD, sister, Nancy wife of Theodore Strauss of Slatington, PA; 7 Grandchildren; Sean, Chelsea, Brianna, Austin, Alexa, Shawna, and Kadin; 2 Great-Granddaughters; Rylee and Teigan. He was predeceased by daughter, Karen L. Frey-Young in June.

A Memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at Union Lutheran Church, 5550 Route 873, Neffs, Schnecksville, PA.

Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
