Robert J. Ganci, 80, of Whitehall, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, September 9, 2026. Born on June 15, 1946, he was the son of the late Joseph and Anna (Rengert) Ganci and the devoted husband of the late Kathleen "Kate" (Flamish) Ganci, who passed away on August 11, 2025. Together, they built a loving family and shared many years of happiness.

Robert was a hardworking businessman and a familiar face in the community. As the owner and operator of Ganci's Exxon in Allentown for more than 50 years, he built lasting relationships with generations of customers who appreciated his honesty, kindness, and willingness to help others. Following his retirement, Robert enjoyed spending time with family and continued working alongside his son, transporting cars, something he truly enjoyed. Above all, Robert was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who treasured time spent with his family. He will be remembered for his strong work ethic, generous heart, and sense of humor.

He is survived by his daughters, Jodi L. Lock, wife of Ron Lock, of Quakertown; Jennifer A. Ganci and Chuck Dodge of Syracuse, New York; Janelle M. Ganci, wife of Steve Raysely Jr., of Northampton; and his son, Matthew R. Ganci and Jacqueline Cromonic of Northampton; his sister, Joanne Schwartz, wife of Richard Schwartz, of Center Valley; his cherished grandchildren, Joe, Jillian, Kaden, Jenna, Jake, Jack, and Kendall; and nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, followed by a 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial, all on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at St. Elizabeth Roman Catholic Church, 618 Fullerton Avenue, Whitehall. Interment will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Fullerton.
