Robert A. George, Sr.,
74 of Moore Township, died on Wednesday, July 19, 2017, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Muhlenberg Campus, Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Born November 19, 1942 in Cleveland, Ohio, he was the son of the late James A. and Selma A. (Abraham) George. He and his wife Joan E. (Hayes) George were married on May 28, 1966.
He was a manager of customer service for Honeywell, Morristown, NJ for twenty-five years before retiring in 1992. He also served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam.
Survivors: In addition to his wife he is survived by son, Robert A. George, Jr. and his wife Marie of Manassas, Virginia, daughters, Suzanne L. wife of Michael Kuchavik of Moore Township, and Mary E. wife of Alan Baker of Moore Township, three brothers, grandchildren, Michael Kuchavik, Jr., Stephanie Kuchavik, Robert George, III, Jackson George, Molly George, Faith Baker, Joshua Baker, Jeremiah Baker, John Baker, Jordan Baker and Elijah Baker. He was predeceased by granddaughter, Katherine E. Kuchavik.
Services: The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, July 24, 2017, and from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM on Tuesday, July 25, 2017, both at Schisler Funeral Home 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, Pennsylvania, 18067 followed by a 10:30 AM Mass of Christian Burial at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church 115 Washington Street, Bath, Pennsylvania.
