, 88 of Center Valley, PA died on Tuesday, June 6, 2017, at his residence. Born January 25, 1929 in Allentown, PA, he was the son of the late Clifford E. and Gladys (Sell) Hartzell. He was the husband of Lillian (Trentalange) Hartzell for over 43 years.
Robert was employed as an assembler with Mack Trucks for over 10 years retiring in 1986. Prior to he worked for the Lehigh Valley Dairy as a district sales manager for over 20 years. He was a Charter Member of the Fullerton Fire Company.
Survivors: Survivors include his wife Lillian; son, Craig R. Hartzell and his wife Annette of Weeki Wachee, FL; daughter, Cheryl Lee Mesko and her husband Wayne of Springtown, PA; brothers, George E. Hartzell of Fullerton, PA and William C. Hartzell and his wife Dorothy of Fullerton, PA,; sisters, Jean L. Litzenberger of Fullerton, PA and Margaret A. Guldner and her husband Henry of Philadelphia, PA; 7 grandchildren; 1 great grandson; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, Richard C. and Jack F. Hartzell.
Services: Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at Schisler Funeral Home, Inc., 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA 18067 with the Rev. Timothy Hartzell officiating. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery in Northampton, PA. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Saturday at the funeral home.
Contributions: In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Arthritis Foundation c/o the funeral home.
