Robert J. Kester, Sr.

Robert J. Kester, Sr., 82 of Wind Gap, passed away on Friday, February 12, 2021, at St. Luke's Hospital - Anderson Campus.

Born July 15, 1938 in Allentown, he was the son of the late Harry and Dorothy (Werner) Kester, Sr. and husband of the late Viola Marie (Hower) Kester.

He honorably served in the US Marine Corps. Robert raced at the Dorney Park Race Track and was an avid bowler, playing in the mixed bowling league at the Blue Valley Lanes, Wind Gap. He also enjoyed golfing.

He is survived by his son, Robert J. Kester, Jr. and Michele, daughters, Georgine K. Hottle, and Terry L. wife of Anthony Albanese, brothers, Richard Kester and wife Pat, Harry Kester, Jr. and Elmer Kester and wife Suzanne, sisters, Sandy wife of Peter Mink, Ann Rosario and Judith wife of Barry Smith, nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, followed by an 1:00 PM funeral service, all on Friday, February 19, 2021, at the Bartholomew-Schisler Funeral Home, 211 E. Center Street, Nazareth.

Interment will follow at the Northampton Memorial Shrine, Easton.
