Robert C. Kistler, Sr., 70, of Bee Hollow Drive, Lehighton, Franklin Township, Pennsylvania, died suddenly Tuesday evening, February 11, 2020, in his home. He was the husband of the late Elizabeth J. (Neff) Kistler, who passed in 2013. Born in Tamaqua, he was a son of the late Charles J. and Hattie H. (Miller) Kistler.
Robert was employed as a stone mason and heavy equipment operator. He was a member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ, Tamaqua, West Penn Township. Robert was a 1967 graduate of the Lehighton High School.
Survivors: Daughter, Tammy wife of Eric Whiteman of Lehighton. Son, Robert C., Jr., and wife Penny Kistler of Lehighton. Grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Sisters, Grace wife of Bruce Neifert of New Ringgold, and Virginia Fairchild of Lehighton. Brothers, Charles and wife DeRue Kistler, Richard and wife Connie Kistler, and Jeffrey D., Sr. and wife Dena Kistler, all of Lehighton, and Bruce and wife Allane Kistler of Tamaqua. Several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by an infant sister.
