Robert "Bob" A. Krome Jr., son of Robert A. Krome Sr. and Vera (Kronmüller) Krome, of Forks Township, PA, was born April 16, 1960 in Easton, Pennsylvania. He and his younger brother James A. Krome made their parents proud with many accomplishments but were also known for their mischievous adventures together. Bob is preceded in death by his baby sister. He attended Easton High School and VoTech of Northampton County. After graduation, Bob worked for Continental Motors. Soon after, he began his career working at Frick Transfer, Inc., in Easton, PA. Bob enjoyed working for Frick Transfer in various roles for over 40 years. His most recent role was managing Frick Repair with his youngest son and friends.
He was united in holy matrimony to Karen L. (Butz) Krome on June 18, 1983, married for 37 years. They were set up by their childhood friends and first met at the Hecktown Carnival. They spent much of their marriage hanging out with their dearest friends bowling, snowmobiling, camping, concert going, picnicking, and much more. This union was blessed with two children: Robert A. Krome III and Nicholas J. Krome. Bob and his sons spent much time together hunting, working on cars, helping with home improvements, and making countless memories together.
Bob was an avid hunter, devoted father/son, skilled mechanic, frequent camper, and loyal NASCAR fan, but most of all he enjoyed his role of being a grandfather to his four granddaughters, Emsley, Avery, Elley, and Audrey, as well as his grandson, Nicholas Jr. As a result of his kind and caring spirit and pleasant personality, he was loved by many. He quietly departed this life Sunday, January 24, 2021 at his oldest son's home, surrounded by his family in Plainfield Township, PA. His last days were full of love, laughter, and reminiscing. He witnessed the union of his youngest son/daughter-in-law, held his grandson for the first time and joked with his granddaughters until the very end.
His beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of his children: Robert A. Krome III, wife Ashley of Plainfield Township, PA, and Nicholas J. Krome, wife Courtney of Easton, PA; five grandchildren, Emsley, Avery, Elley, Audrey, and Nicholas Jr.; brother James A. Krome, wife Maria, and their daughter/Bob's beautiful niece, Brittney of Plainfield Township, PA. He was preceded in death by his grandparents James W. and Verna Krome, and August and Elfriede Kronmüller.
