Robert C. Leith

Robert C. Leith, 77 of Bath, PA, died on Monday, April 9, 2018, at Gracedale Nursing Home in Nazareth, PA. Born May 12, 1940 in Bethlehem, PA. he was the son of the late Charles and Christina (Duh) Leith. He was the husband of Carol A.(Nepa) Leith with whom he shared 34 years of marriage last August 20, 2017.
Robert was an ordained Minister of the Lutheran faith serving under the leadership of The Northeast PA Synod as Senior Pastor for Trinity Lutheran Church, Bowmanstown, Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Kreidersville, PA. and lastly at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church Bethlehem, PA. for 24 years before retiring in1990. Robert was always proud of having earned Eagle Scout Rank with the Boy Scouts of America. He served his country as a Marine in the National Reserves during Peacetime.
Surviving along with his wife Carol are son, Eric Leith of Walnutport, PA, Step-Daughter, Alena wife of Jason Gross of Danielsville, Step-Son, Joseph Roth of Bath, PA, and a granddaughter, Claudia. He was predeceased by a sister, Nancy Leith.
A Funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM on Thursday April 12, 2018 at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Ave. Northampton, PA. 18067 with the Rev. Jami L. Possinger officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM prior to the services. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
Contributions May be made to the Parkinson's Council L.V. Support Group, 2545 Schoenersville Road, Bethlehem, PA. 18017 or C/O the funeral home.
