Robert S. Marlatt

Robert S. Marlatt, 83 of Northampton, PA went to live in peace with the Lord on Wednesday, January 24, 2018, at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born on October 7, 1934 in Allentown, PA, he was the son of the late Robert Marlatt and the late Miriam (Hughes) Marlatt. He was the husband of Bonnie S. (Breinig) Marlatt.

Robert was a high school graduate and worked as a Custodian and Laundry Manager for the Allentown State Hospital for 27 years before retiring in 1997. He was a member of the Gospel Chapel in Northampton. He was also a member of St. Peter's Hungarian Hall, Northampton. He was a former member of the Slatington Moose Lodge, State Hospital Bowling League and the Petersville Rod and Gun Club. Robert was an avid fisherman and hunter who enjoyed the great outdoors.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons, Richard T., Auburn, PA, Gregory of Coplay, PA, Timothy of Allentown, PA, Robert J. (Chris) of Slatington, PA, Jarred J. and Tyler R. both of Northampton, PA, daughters, Stephany Wechsler of Slatington, PA and Victoria Marlatt of Allentown, PA; 9 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday January 27, 2018 at 11:30 AM at Gospel Chapel located at 1769 Newport Avenue, Northampton, PA 18067 with The Rev. Ken Deusa officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:30AM to 11:30AM prior to the services all at the church. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
