Robert E. Osgood

Robert E. Osgood, 60, of Stagecoach Road, Lehighton, Towamensing Township, PA, died peacefully early Friday evening, May 8, 2026, at St. Luke's Hospital, Carbon Campus, Lehighton. He was the husband of Patti A. (Mack) Osgood since October 19, 1985. Born in Elmira, NY, he was a son of the late Lawrence Osgood, and Mrs. Marion (Lewis) Osgood of Brownsville, TX.

Robert was employed as a technician for Blue Ridge Cable Co., Palmerton. Previously, he worked in the same capacity for RCN and Twin County Cable, Northampton. He attended St. Peter's Church, Emerald. Robert enjoyed boating, fishing at Beltzville Lake, and Mauch Chunk Lake, Jim Thorpe, hunting, and camping at Hickory Run State Park. An avid drag racer, he especially enjoyed racing his 1970 Camaro at Maple Grove Speedway.

Survivors: Wife. Daughters, Brandy L. wife of Steven Strohl of Kunkletown, and Brooke A. wife of Joshua Gibbs of Palmerton. 5 grandchildren, Brandon, Tori, Kaitlyn, Isabella, and Levi. Sister, Julie Smith of Brownsville, TX. Niece, Racheal Cohen of CA. He was predeceased by a sister, Judy Morris.
