Rolande G. Smith

Rolande G. (Fox) Smith , 76, of DeRose Street, Walnutport, Lehigh Twp., PA, died suddenly Saturday afternoon, April 19, 2025, in her home.  She was the wife of the late James A. Smith who passed in 2023.  Born in Plainfield, NJ, she was a daughter of the late Alfred T., Jr. and Rolande (Dorais) Fox.

Rolande was employed as a travel agent for Cruise Planner, Coral Springs, FL, locally, out of Walnutport.  She was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Berlinsville.  An avid artist, she enjoyed painting, traveling by train, cruising, gardening, and enjoying nature.

Survivors: Sons, Mark A. of Lebanon, and Matthew J. of Whitehall.  3 grandchildren, Joshua, Alexsys, and Cassandra.  Sisters, Patricia wife of Walter Carson of Manheim, Lancaster County, Nancy Izzo of Bloomsbury, NJ, Donna wife of Steven Daku of Asbury, NJ, and Linda wife of James Blesse of Bellefonte, Centre County.  Brothers, Alfred T., Jr. and wife Pat of Myerstown, Lebanon County, Paul and wife Donna of TN, Charles of Missoula, MT, and David of Vero Beach, FL. Numerous nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by a brother, Wayne.

Services: Mass of Christian Burial, 10:00a.m., Thursday, May 1, 2025, St. Nicholas Church, 1152 Oak Road, Walnutport (Berlinsville), PA 18088.  Call, 9:30a.m.-10:00a.m. Thursday in church.  Interment, Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.  Arrangements, Campton Funeral Home, Palmerton.  Online Condolences may be left for the family at: www.schislerfuneralhomes.com .
