Ronald A. Anthony

Ronald A. Anthony , 86, of Whitetail Deer Lane, Kunkletown, Lower Towamensing Township, PA, died peacefully early Friday morning, April 8, 2022, at Maple Shade Meadows, Nesquehoning.  He was the husband of the late Betty J. (Heydt) Anthony who passed in 2020.  Born in Palmerton, he was the son of the late Adam N. and Ellenor R. (Kellow) Anthony.

Ronald was employed as a senior truck driver for Alpo-Purina Corp., Fogelsville.  An active member of Salem United Methodist Church, Aquashicola, he served on the church council and volunteered with the ecumenical food bank, CACPAC.  Ronald was a 1953 graduate of the Palmerton High School.  A gentleman farmer, he enjoyed caring for his property putzin' and tinkering around. He enjoyed hunting, occasionally fishing, and spending time with family.

Survivors: Daughter, Rebecca J. Anthony of Kunkletown.  Sons, Ronald A. Jr., Rickey D. and wife Yvonne, and Randy M. all of Kunkletown.  6 grandchildren, Jeremy, Jason, Jessica, Cory, Christopher, and Elizabeth.  8 great-grandchildren.
