Ronald C. Bollinger , 83, of 5th Street, Palmerton, PA, died peacefully early Tuesday evening, May 21, 2024 at Lehigh Valley Hospital Inpatient Hospice Care, Allentown. He was the husband to Eileen C. (DeReamer) Bollinger since June 6, 1964. Born in Aquashicola, Lower Towamensing Township, he was a son of the late Richard and Alverta (Christman) Bollinger.
Ronald was employed as a butcher/meat cutter by the former A and B Meat Co., Allentown. Later, he worked as maintenance supervisor for the Mahoning Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Lehighton, and in the maintenance/landscaping department of Pencor Services, Palmerton. Ronald was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church of Towamensing, Palmerton. He served in the Army, Vietnam Era, Stateside. He enjoyed working on automobiles, and his favorite was his 1935 Chevrolet Pickup Truck. After retiring, he and his wife enjoyed traveling and scheduling many senior bus trips.
Survivors: Wife. Sons, Randy and Amiee (Ellis) Bollinger, and Brian and wife Stephanie (Simmons) Bollinger. 4 grandchildren, Emily, Dylan, Tanner, and Shane. Sisters, Connie Eckley, Nancy Bollinger, and Carol wife of Daniel Bauer. Brother, Thomas and wife Rosalie (Rumfield) Bollinger. Several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Madalie Lambert, and a brother, Richard.
Services: Memorial Services, 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 24, 2024, St. John's Towamensing Lutheran Church, PO Box 2915, 2915 Fireline Road, Palmerton, PA 18071. Call, 10:00a.m.-11:00a.m. Friday in the church. Private Interment, Lehighton Cemetery. Arrangements, Campton Funeral Home, Palmerton.
