Ronald R. Deutsch, 74, of Nick Lane, East Penn Township, died suddenly Friday afternoon, December 30, 2016, at Blue Mountain Health Systems, Palmerton Campus. He was the husband of Patricia A. (Bult) Deutsch since June 19, 1965. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late John R. and Tessie "Tekla" (Barna) Deutsch.
Ronald was employed as a chainman/crane department of the former Bethlehem Steel Corporation, for 31 years, retiring in 1995. He served in the Navy, Vietnam Era.
Survivors: Wife, Patricia. Daughters, Deana wife of Gary Strohl of Lehighton. Sons, Jason and wife Tanya of Allentown, Chad of Friedens. 7 grandchildren. Brother, John and wife Mary of Allentown. 2 Aunts. Nieces. Nephews.
Services: Memorial Services with Military Honors, 3:00 p.m., Thursday, January 5, 2017 at Campton Funeral Home, 525 Delaware Avenue, Palmerton, PA 18071. Call, 2-3:00 p.m., Thursday in the funeral home. Private Interment.
