Ronald P. Geiger

Ronald P. Geiger, 78 of North Catasauqua, passed away on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Muhlenberg, Bethlehem.

Born January 13, 1948 in Whitehall, he was the son of the late Jerome A. and Ruth J. (Masonheimer) Geiger. He and his wife Mary (Dotterer) Geiger were married on July 26, 1969.

Ronald worked of the Borough of North Catasauqua for twenty years, retiring in 2011 as Borough Supervisor. Prior to that he was employed by General Electric for twenty years. He honorably served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam and was a former North Catasauqua Volunteer Fireman as well as a Scout Master.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Justin and wife Kimberly Geiger of State College, daughter, Jennifer wife of Adam Cyphers of Chesapeake, VA, brother, Dennis and wife Diamond Geiger of Kutztown, grandson, Julian Geiger, great granddaughter, Eden Ripley, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family will receive friends from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM on Friday, September 11, 2026 and a funeral service at 1:00 PM on Saturday, September 12, 2026, both at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA 18067. Interment will follow at Cedar hill Memorial Park, Allentown.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinsons in care of the funeral home.
