Ronald W. "Ron" Matuczinski, 82, of Coplay, PA, passed away on Thursday, August 20, 2026, at Fellowship Manor Community in Whitehall, PA. Born June 16, 1944, in Allentown, PA, he was the son of the late Cazimir R. Matuczinski and the late Bertha (Tepich) Matuczinski. Ron was the husband of Barbara (Moclock) Matuczinski, with whom he shared 61 years of marriage this July 10, 2026.
Ron was a 1962 Liberty High School graduate who went on to own and operate his own painting company for over 40 years before retiring in 2015. Ron was a member of Holy Trinity R.C. Church, Whitehall, PA. He was a social member of the Egypt V.F.W. Post #7293, Whitehall, PA, a member of the American Legion Post #353, Northampton, PA, and a member of Ranger Lake Rod and Gun Club, Coplay, PA. Ron enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, and golfing, in which he achieved a hole-in-one on August 3, 1974. He honorably served our country in the U.S. Marine Corps from January 1963 to December 1966.
Surviving along with his wife Barbara are son Greg with Kelly; daughters Christine and Tracy; sister Deborah Gambler with Roy; sister-in-law Barbara Matuczinski; brothers-in-law Michael and Richard Moclock; grandchildren Emily, Olivia, William, Erin, James, and Nicholas; great-grandchildren Christopher and Noelle; along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by brother Cazimir J. Matuczinski and son-in-law Christopher "Kip" Ernst.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at Holy Trinity R.C. Church, 4456 Main St., Whitehall, PA 18052. Family and friends may call from 9:30 AM until time of Mass in the church. Interment with Military Honors will follow in Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem, PA. Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Ave. Northampton, PA 18067 has been entrusted with his care and arrangements.
