Ronald C. Serfass,
80, of Walnutport, Lehigh Township, Pennsylvania, died Tuesday, March 27, 2018, at Lehigh Valley Hospice Inpatient Unit, Allentown. Born in Lower Towamensing Township, he was the son of the late Preston A. and Evelyn M.G.M. (Schaffer) Serfass.
Ronald was employed as a mechanic and general laborer by the former New Jersey Zinc Company, Palmerton, for over 20 years. He was a member of Salem United Methodist Church, Aquashicola. Ronald served his country honorably in the Navy, Vietnam Era, achieving the rank of SN. He enjoyed working on cars, auto racing, and attending local speedways.
Survivors: Companion, Mary Jane (Solt) Stier with whom he resided. Sisters, Delores F. Smith of Nazareth, and, Verda J. wife of James P. Scheetz of Slatington. Several nieces and nephews.
Services: Memorial Services, 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 14, 2018, at Salem United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 219, 4145 Forest Inn Road, Aquashicola, PA 18012. Call, 10:00-11:00 a.m. Saturday, in the church. Interment will be with Military Honors, at Towamensing Cemetery, 3rd Street and Fireline Road, Palmerton, PA 18071.
