Rosalie Cangro

Rosalie Cangro, 95 of Lower Nazareth Township, passed away on Friday, November 4, 2022, at her home.

Born August 7, 1927 in Windber, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Raffaele and Mary (Dimuzio) Campitelli and wife of the late George A. Cangro.

She is survived by daughters, Caryn Cangro of Branchburg, NJ, Jacqueline Bartolomeo, of Lower Nazareth Township, grandchildren, Deana Matute, married to Renzo, Brian Luizza, married to Jeanine, Casey Luizza, Maria Oliveira, Stefanie Bartolomeo, Renae Heath, married to Andrew, and Alison Boncha, married to Christopher, great grandchildren, Isabella, Gennaro, Giancarlo, Marcello, Antonia, Salvatore, Brayden, Emmy, and Ava, sisters, Margaret Tenore of Clermont, FL, Virginia Dearmin of Bethlehem, and Leona Gentile of Nazareth, and many loving nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothes and sisters, James Campitelli, Carl Campitelli, Elinor Pierone, Louise Dominguez, Joann Montini and John Campitelli.

She was a secretary for Teamsters Local #177, Hillside, NJ for many years before retiring. She was also a former CCD teacher at Holy Spirit Church, Union, NJ. Rosalie loved to spend time with her grandchildren and enjoyed dancing with her husband.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Sunday, November 13, 2022, at Bartholomew-Schisler Funeral Home, 211 E. Center Street, Nazareth, Pennsylvania. A graveside service to be scheduled at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, PA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to One Warm Coat, in care of the funeral home.
